About

I am a self-professed global nomad whose Nikon camera is quite possibly an extension of her soul.
Thanks to a set of parents who made a point of uprooting me on average every two years or so, being perpetually displaced has virtually become part of my DNA. I am on the road frequently and off the beaten-path. As a result, I have become deeply passionate about meeting people, hearing their stories and capturing them on film.
I am primarily a travel and portrait photographer, however I’m always looking to break into new ground with my craft. My past projects have included noir-inspired crime scene photos, boudoir photography and other engagements. Snapshots of my work are available for viewing here, although I welcome a visit to my portfolio at www.evaychan.com for a more complete collection of my work.
A typical shoot with me, could mean just about anything. I constantly try to push the creative limits and create edgy, fresh images. Ask my models, they’ll be the first to tell you! Please contact me if you’re interested in collaborating with me on a photoshoot. I shoot *very* frequently and am constantly looking to cast models for the next project. TFP or TFCD.
On the rare occasion that my camera isn’t attached to me, I am an avid rock climber and study Northern Shaolin kung fu, specializing in the Chinese straight sword.
