Last Saturday, I shot at the Beijing Rotary Club’s 2010 Annual Charity Ball. I’m not sure who had more fun. The guests, or us photographers who shot the evening’s festivities. I had been discussing with EventPod founder, Joanna Riley about a unique approach to documenting events and this was chance to put my lens cap where my mouth is. Yup, none other than bringing the CRAZYBOOTH to one of Beijing’s biggest social events. No pressure.

I could not have possibly done this without all the other shooters from EventPod that night. We truly had a blast and brought the crazy to the party. It is one thing to suck up your courage and walk up to total strangers dressed to the nines and engage them in front of the lens, but another to get them to ham it up in front of all your photographic get-up. And BOY. You’ve never seen a party like this one. :)
