They feel warm and cheery as a crackling fire, and all the joy that the holiday season brings. I was delighted to wrap up 2010 by spending a gorgeous afternoon with the Kims. If you aren’t in the Christmas spirit, then five minutes with this fabulous bunch will set you right. They are so much fun to be around, and so obviously into each other that it is infectious. My face hurt from laughing so hard behind the lens.

It is so easy to see how much they love and enjoy each other’s company. They are constantly smiling and sharing inside jokes.

Like mother, like drop-dead-gorgeous daughters.

Girls just wanna have fun!

I had an absolute blast shooting the Fu family yesterday. The girls were amazing and braved the heat and humidity of Hong Kong in August, and we shot in one of my favorite locations in the city.

This shoot was really special not only because it’s been weeks in the making, but because it’s the girls’ birthday present to their mom, Ruby. I can think of no other way to celebrate a mother’s birthday than by creating awesome images that I hope will grow to become part of your family’s visual heirlooms.

That meant a lot of caffeine, lots of cramming new programs both into my hard drive and brain, and the assistance of a very understanding brother who was visiting HK.
